Kupfer

Nick Flade and Stefan Weyerer are „Kupfer". Both got to know each other when the former "Kapelle Weyerer" was the tour band of Jazz Echo winner, singer and actress Jasmin Tabatabai.
Since the last album of his "Kapelle Weyerer" "Indie-Poet" Weyerer took his time for a new project and founded Kupfer.He also writes (also internationally awarded) film music for independent cinema and produces albums and songs of other artists.He also works as a studio and live musician beyond the boundaries of pop.On his own behalf and as a sideman he has been on tour live all over Europe and the USA.
Nick Flade was already in demand as a live and session musician at the age of 17.In the meantime he is also booked internationally and produced albums for Ganes and Willy Astor, among others. In recent years he has performed on stage with Nick van Eede, Chaka Kahn, Mike Stern and Aura Dione, among others.
Logically, the two Kupfer protagonists produce their songs themselves and plays also almost all instruments.
