Michael Soltau

Thrilling ZDF police series about the everyday work of patrol officers and emergency doctors at the Hamburg harbor edge with already more than 400 episodes. Since the 1st episode, the film music for this TV series has been written by the Berlin-based composer and producer Michael Soltau, who was involved in the "Classical Crossover" music genre that emerged in the second half of the 1990s. This includes artists such as Sarah Brightman, José Carreras, The Ten Tenors and, by extension, Gregorian. The goal is an organic fusion of classical themes and symphonic sounds with modern electronic sounds, loops, percussion and rock elements.
