Michael Soltau

Michael Soltau is an experienced composer and producer who is best known for his film music in the ZDF series Notruf Hafenkante.
In addition to this work, he is also active in music production and has worked with artists such as Sarah Brightman and José Carreras. He was also a co-founder of the group Gregorian, which became famous for its “ambient pop” albums.
Michael Soltau maintains an extensive collection of important synthesizers and electric guitars from the last 50 years, which characterize the sound of his film scores and song productions. A mix of acoustic and electronic instruments often lends the film scenes a modern but also epic touch.
