Even though Merlin, the great wizard, is not a god, he should be immortal. The track "Waldlieder", which is in a pagan-folk sound, is about Merlin's close connection to the trees and animals of the forest. The song begins with Vietnamese Jew's harps. In the rhythmic intermediate part, sliding didgeridoo and electric bass duel each other. The German lyrics are based on a poem by Nikolaus Lenau.
