Moments of happiness with Summer2Go
Why are people always looking for one big happiness? Why don't they realize how much happiness surrounds them every day? All they have to do is open their eyes and hearts to realize that happiness is everywhere." This year's Summer2Go release is all about the little moments of happiness that make up life. Four brand new songs, in keeping with the words of philosopher Kazumi Shizukasato, are released at the most beautiful time of year - summer.
The five musicians remain true to their chilled West Coast rock sound, in which they combine the groove of electric guitar, electric bass and drums with instruments from all over the world and polyphonic vocals. A new addition is the voice of Don Pedro, who perfectly complements the versatile voices of the two lead singers Sunshine Andrea and Crazy Betty.
"Berge" is about the feeling of freedom when hiking, the endless expanse when looking down from the summit, the satisfied exhaustion and, of course, the path as a goal. The electric guitar sound and the rhythm of the song are reminiscent of Hubert von Goisern and there is also a yodel. The alternating lead vocals, which are divided between three voices, support the singer-songwriter feel of the song. The Vietnamese jew's harp in the intro is surprising, moving the song out of its Bavarian context and towards world music.
