PanAroma by Marcator

PanAroma' means many, comprehensive scents and spices that can be transferred to different instrumentations and styles in a musical context. This is exactly what Marcator uses on his 19th album on the Prudence label. There are space sounds, folkloristic elements, jazzy passages, rocky tones and ethnic sounds. The vitality of the album is also characterized by the outstanding guest musicians, Nikolai Hotsch on drums and the fantastic jazz saxophonist Marco Podobnik. However, this instrumental album is mostly dominated by calm, melodious guitar lines. 'PanAroma' is part of a triple album and describes the present.  The other parts 'PanAroma Reincarnations' (past) and 'PanAroma Served Chilled' (future) will be released in the course of 2025. The cover art was once again painted by Jens Rusch, who is responsible for most of Marcator's album covers.
