Chiemgaureggae (Single) by Horst Biewald

The Chiemgaureggae with its unmistakable yodel refrain has already been released in 2008 in the demo version with Fendrich, Ambros and many others together on the Sony sampler Alpenpower II and on the dialect sampler Hart und Zart II. In the summer of 2010 Horst Biewald won 2nd place with this song at the ORF Schnabl competition in Vorarlberg. The prize included a re-recording of Chiemgaureggae and so the fully radio-ready No. 1 of this single was created, which was then played on ORF for several months daily at least once a day for several months. In the summer of 2023 Focus released this single for all!
